GreyEdge is currently engaged to provide a schematic design for the Town of Vail to hybridize their existing snowmelt plants at the Lionshead parking garage and the Vail Resorts Plant operated from the Arabelle Hotel boiler room. The proposed project will use unique local resources such as the local wastewater plant effluent and heat rejection from the Dobson Ice Arena as well as geoexchange fields to provide a baseload of heat pump heating to over 160,000sf of snowmelt.
